Great day out for all the family. Food and refreshments aplenty.
The Mercury Bay Aero Club is based at Whitianga and operates the airfield. Club activities are based around its C172 aircraft, both for flight training and private member hirage. The many coastal inlets and islands that make up the Mercury Bay area can be seen by hiring one of the commercial operators that work out of the Aero Club. For information regarding these please go to our 'links' page.
BFR's and flying training with our resident 'B' Cat instructor Ken Adlam at rates you won't believe in our 2002 model Cessna 172 SP. Make it a weekend at the beach and do your BFR!

The Mercury Bay Aero Club is an ideal place to fly in and visit the many attractions of Whitianga and the Mercury Bay area, or just have a great coffee.
